Concedes three in loss
Alvaro Valles registered six saves and allowed three goals in Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Barcelona.
Analysis: Valles stopped six of the nine shots he faced Sunday, but could do little to truly stop the Barcelona attack. The goalkeeper was thoroughly beaten three times and the defense in front of him did little to limit high-danger chances. Without more help from the team in front of him, Valles had little he could do.

Valles recorded one save and allowed one goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Elche.
Analysis: There wasn't much Valles could've done on the goal he conceded since the ball had a bounce that left him out of the sequence. Valles should have limited upside over the weekend since Betis will travel to Barcelona to take on the reigning league champions.
