Closes out scoring in second half
Nascimento scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC.
Analysis: Nascimento closed out the scoring for the Galaxy in the final moments of the game, as he took advantage of a great play from Gabriel Pec to slot the ball home into the empty net. This was Nascimento's first goal of the season, but since he's been limited to bench minutes thus far, his fantasy upside will remain fairly low until he can secure a regular starting XI role.
Features 13 minutes off bench
Nascimento came off the bench for 13 minutes in Wednesday's 3-1 loss against Sporting Kansas City, creating one chance in his return to competitive action after missing several weeks with a hamstring problem.
Analysis: Nascimento had been sidelined since early April after featuring as a substitute in each of LA Galaxy's first five league games, making his return to the matchday squad a welcome development for the club. Joao Klauss (foot) had been leading the front line during his absence but with his recent injury, it could let Nascimento see more playing time in the coming games for the Galaxy.
